I remember last year around this same time I vow to write more and show more to the world of what's happening with me, my family and my shop. But honestly, who am I kidding?!?! It's been a year and I barely wrote anything since last Easter.
Well, while I am not blaming it on the kids, but for those who has 2 or more children under the age of 5, I am sure you will understand how I wish there's 48 hours in a day. Seriously, it's like I finally get to sit down and it's already midnight! And all I do was, cook, clean, cook again, clean again, do school drop off, clean some more, pick up, cook, and then clean again! It's like a never ending cycle of cooking and cleaning (and I use the dishwasher too!!!!) So if you are a mom with kid(s), whether you are a working mom or a stay at home mom or both, give yourself a pack on the back, because you deserve it (dads too by the way), raising children is hard work.
So what have I been up to? Let pick one of the most exciting, time consuming, and beautiful thing that happened - my little princess's 4th birthday! Anyone who had been to one of my parties would know that I take a lot of time planning and crafting and cooking for it. It's a problem for people who loves to crafts and thinks they can do it all, then I ended up spending a year and a half DIY-ing my own wedding. While it was a lot of work (like non stop three months of handmade fabric flower center pieces), it turned out awesome. It's been almost 5 years and I still have people who came tell me how they still remember it.
It's my little girl's first big party with almost all of her classmates and friends from preschool and because she wanted a rainbow party, AGAIN, it took me 6 long months of late night crafting to make it happen! At least it's not year and a half I supposed. First thing I did once we picked a theme was to go crazy on Pinterest, and then after picking out decor and food ideas, I started an excel sheet with list of things I want and need to make happen for the party.

And here is how th party turned out.
I take a picture of her every month as a tracker (I also do the same for my little guy) and here's all 47 of them.
Helping out with the food in the morning before the party. Also trying to "accidentally" touch the icing so she get to lick it.
Happy birthday sweet heart <3
