I'm not a huge American football fan, but I have lived in the States for a year and now in Vancouver it seems like you can never really get away with people talking about the Super Bowl the month before leading up to the event. Prior to my year in Idaho (yes, I lived in Idaho for a year during my senior year in high school, I was on an exchange program, that's why) I had no idea what was American Football (wonder why I kept saying American football? Cause I grow up in Hong Kong under the British system and football to me is soccer to North Americans). But since then I didn't find the game and the rules hard to understand and it can be quite exciting and amazing to watch. And to be honest, a lot of people like me are watching the Super Bowl for the half time show and the commercial in between. Not that I don't pay attention to the game, but just saying there's a lot of entertainment during the game that you might not want to miss.
Two years ago, little Rowen came to this world in the morning of the Super Bowl Sunday and Rowen's mommy thinks that it is so special to be born on that day that it must be included Rowen's announcement. Being a mother myself, I know how tired it would be after giving birth, but I wonder if the family spend the first day watching the Super Bowl with the brand new little Rowen in the hospital recovery room. And I wonder if the Seagal family is having a Super Bowl theme birthday party for Rowen's 2nd birthday today. :) Happy birthday little Rowen.
